It's been a long and busy offseason and this was something I meant to do sooner, but was caught up with offseason tournaments, VSN stuffs, working on a still-to-be-finished HoF article, draft prep and scouting, and of course trading away basically the entirety of what remained of the S97 Malmo Nighthawks (that's a whole other can of worms, but not why I'm here).

Congratulations to both Ronald Johnson MacWallace III @RJMW and Savaisk Tzesar @Komrad on exceptional careers!

Both players were selected by Malmo in the 1st round of the S89 VHL Draft-- RJMW III was 7th overall and Tzesar was 12th-- and both players spent their entire 7 season VHL careers with the Nighthawks.  They both racked up 504 career games played and produced remarkably similar results over their parallel careers.

RJMW III finished his career with 203 goals and 318 assists for 521 points, good for 6th in frachise history in goals for, 4th in assists, and 6th again in overall points.  As a centerman, RJMW III provided an excellent one-two option with Viktor Jenson, making Malmo a formidable team down the middle for the better part of the last decade of seasons.

Tzesar, for his part, filled the net 228 times and added 280 assists for 508 points.  Those totals leave him ranked 4th in Nighthawks history for goalscoring, 9th in assists, and 7th in total points.  Where Tzesar excelled and brought an extra element to the game was in his physical play.  With 1797 hits, Tzesar had the 2nd most among all forwards to play with the Nighthawks, behind Druss Deathwalker, and had the 3rd most among all skaters.  Tzesar also had a knack for big goals and finished 2nd in franchise history with 45 game winners, 2nd behind only Jenson (48).

Along with franchise legends like Stone and Jensen, RJWM III and Tzesar were cornerstone pieces of one of the most successful eras of Nighthawks hockey, helping the franchise to 3 Victory Cups in a 7 season span.  Though the team infamously struggled to exit the first round, there is no denying the quality of the players that made up those teams-- not only on in the sims, but as amazing human beings.  RJ and Komrad are both exceptional teammates and bring so much life and energy to the team whenever they're available to chat.

Once again, congratulations to both players on incredible careers and I can't wait to see what both of you can accomplish with your next players in the near future!

Made me proud that I helped malmo in such a huge way and the fact I had teammates like RJMW Viktor rave and more made the experience 10 times more fun thank you lucy for making these and creating one of the best seasons of my career ❤️

Should've traded those bums and started the rebuild smh, kept them just to lose in the first round 😝

I had a lot of fun in Malmo, glad I was able to finish it out with Tzesar and Jensen there the whole way!!! :)
