Chad Powers statement on being given the captaincy in Halifax

I would just like to acknowledge how truly appreciative I am for being chosen to be the captain of the Halifax 21st, I believe the team that we have is truly something special and I cannot find a way to put into words how much I value and appreciate being given this title. From here on out I can promise that there will be no more playing like we’re in a throwaway game up in Rochester, this will be my 3rd and final season in Halifax and I cannot express how great the time here has been. This season will be the season of Halifax, it will be the last ride of Chad Powers and his immortals, and I couldn’t be any more fortunate to have the teammates I have now. The amount of talent, passion, and vibe of this team is unmatched and to be at the helm of this ship is truly a blessing.
