Lights too Bright

Richmond is Terrible

Coming into the season, Richmond had high hopes to continue where he left off and being a 100 point scorer yet again, however, that is not going to happen. Richmond has been awful this season, and that's an understatement. Richmond with 1198 TPA currently is a point-per-game, with 38 points in 38 games played and a -6 on the season. Despite having the most shots on the team, he's on pace for under 40 goals which would be for the first time since S95. He's on pace for 72 points in 72 games played which would be one more point than he had in his sophomore season. Fans are calling for Richmond's head as he's at an all-time low in his career. It will be interesting to see if he potentially gets dealt as a change of scenery could be what he needs to find his game again, or NYA could continue to ride with him. It's very clear that whatever Richmond is doing, it's not working and he needs to turn it around. With less than half a season remaining, he needs to start picking up the slack otherwise he could see himself dealt to who knows where. On top of that, he's got a mutual clause in his contract next season that could see him not returning to the team should he continue to struggle. We'll see what happens moving forward, but Richmond needs to pick up his game.
