You know that feeling of being anchored in your tiny work cubicle on a boring Friday afternoon? There you sit, frozen like a statue, with the weekend so close you can almost taste it. But instead of being happy, all you feel in the here and now is burn-out from a week of hard work, and an agonizingly slow  wait for it to finally end. Naturally you try to avoid gazing at the clock, but try as you might, your eyes refuse to cooperate as they keep checking it compulsively.

Inexplicably, life suddenly transforms into a science fiction film, where time warps from normal into a slow protracted crawl. Seconds seem like minutes and minutes like hours, as the clock all but stops in utter defiance of the laws of physics. "That can't have been just five minutes," you scream to yourself following your latest ill advised glimpse at the clock of doom. "It feels more like an hour!..." Alas your silent protest falls on deaf ears and then the absolute worst thing imaginable happens... Your boss calls you into his office!

Angry Bossman: "Okay, what's all this I hear about a new project?! And damn it! It better be good, otherwise what am I paying you for?!!" 

Burned Out Me: "Well, um, it's still in the planning stages so the details are a little sketchy, but it does involve the VHL and hockey players actually moving on ice!"

Angry Bossman: "Actually moving? What do you think this is? A Broadway musical?!! Jiminy Crickets, I swear I could hire a kid off the street and he'd have better ideas than you!!"

Burned Out Me: "Yes sir... I'm uh, hoping to roll it out next week."

Angry Bossman: "Well it better be good, or the next thing that'll be rolling will be your head right out that window!!"

Burned Out Me: "Yes sir. Thank you sir, may I go now?"

Angry Bossman: "Yeah, get the hell out of my office, and don't let the door hit you on the way out!!"
