After the departure of Ace Wilde, the Mississauga Hounds found themselves in need of a new general manager and after many applicants submitted their resumes, the choice was made.

Olivia Walker, former AGM of the Helsinki Titans in the VHL was chosen as the replacement.

"This is an opportunity I wasn't sure I would get, just based on the sheer number of people who applied. But I'm appreciative of the confidence that the VHLM commissioners are placing in me to come in and do this job. The Hounds have always been a favorite team of mine and I followed them closely during Slava Kovalenko's time there in addition to the seasons after. There's a spirit in that team and I'm going to do my best to bring the Hounds up to the top again."

The new general manager got right to work, on the lookout for an assistant and networking with some of the other managers.

"I'm very excited to get to know the team and of course with two first round draft picks, I'll be looking to making the most of them and see where we can move things this season."

Hounds fans should rest easy and know that the team is in the hands of someone who genuinely loves it.
