Hey guys! My name is Bravebulldogs and I will be interviewing Avery Acres of the Mississauga Hounds today!

 - Hey Avery! How do you feel about how the Hounds did this year and what does the future hold for you?

- I felt like we did a great job this year! Obviously the season didn't end like we would have liked it to but I feel like we gave all our energy. I can't wait to come back next year for my potential last year as a minor league player and hopefully help lead our team to a cup win. That's the goal.

- How do you feel about your teammates?

- We all are on different teams prospect wise but we are all united under the Hounds. We got such a good group of guys and I'm sure we'll all be in touch even after we graduate to the VHL. Wouldn't want to be with any other players.

- How does the pressure of playing for the Toronto hockey team in the VHLM and expected to play well affect your game?

- Pressure drives me. I aim to strive under pressure and as you saw on that 4 OT goal from Sikes @JaySmacksss in the playoffs, we showed we could face it. Our home crowd expected a win and I saw the opportunity to get a big hit and take the puck away and skated down the ice and saw Sikes in the slot and knew if I gave him a good enough pass that he would bury it. We feed off the crowd's energy.

- How much of an impact has Captain Kurt Bachmann @Blutch put on your life and game?

- He has been a great mentor and leader and he leaves all he has on the ice day in and day out. He blocks so many shots and racks up a ton of hits. It gives us momentum. And in the locker room he is a leader. He is a very vocal guy and we will miss him so much and I hope he does great in the league.

- Thank you for speaking with me Avery!

- Thank you for having me!
