S99 is such a crazy number to see knowing that we will be soon approaching the big S100, and triple digit season numbers. Then in S104, I will be able to retire and recreate for the S106 draft class in about a year’s time! It’s still so far away but putting it in the context of season numbers makes it seem like time is flying by like nothing at all. Speaking of time, this upcoming July will be my and Sadie’s VHLiversary, marking 3 whole years since we’ve joined the league! To most, we’re still babies of the league and to others, we’re grizzled vets. It’s quite the dichotomy. Finding the VHL via YouTube ad was probably one of the best things that’s ever happened to me because there’s a sense of community between folks who love sports and are complete nerds, and also provided me with lifetime friendships along the way.
