First taste of VHLM hockey

So that was it that was my first taste of VHLM hockey. After being claimed by the Bern Royals, I played 10 games for their franchise to finish out the season.It was pretty sweet to get the chance to finally lace up my skates once again and show the hockey world that I still got it. Even though my team was pretty horrible, I still managed to get 4 points in 10 games.

 

Which in itself isn’t much, but I thought I played a pretty good all-round game and did my best to help the team win. Too bad, my best wasn’t enough to get us any wins.

If my memory serves me right, we lost all games. Next up for me is now the offseason, spend some time with the family as well as to try and keep my playing shape and be even better next season. I’m not totally sure what’s ahead next, but I think I’ll be heading straight to the junior Draft, to play another year down in the VHLM, before I reach my final destination and get to play in the VHL. It would be cool to go back to Bern, but I’m fairly open to play for any team in the league, since I don’t know too many people in this league yet.
