Boomcheck 161
Damn i've been really busy lately. The season is actually about to begin and I haven't updated in a while, goddamn this is happening fast. Shout out to my team Brekker Bad, the best super cup team. Great locker room activity and everyone seems to be having fun. Also i'm going to tear the VHL up this season. I scored like 50+ last season and I played like the first 12 games as a defenseman and last season there was like only one update during the season because of a MIA updater. It sucked but we got a new updater and hoping things will be different. Especially in Seattle. Speaking of Seattle, damn you Greg </3. Bunch of trades happened and I don't really know what to think of some. Cologne cut ties with Olynick and got Brookside which is actually understandable. Brookside is potentially an upgrade in net in comparison to Olynick who is chugging along. It'd still be hilarious if Cologne got wiped out in the first round again. (I hope they do. *cough*). Blaine is in a strange situation. Stockholm drafted two goaltenders in Barnstormer and Campbell. Jax is VHL ready and will play this season. I think they might split starts for Barnstormer and Olynick. Don't think Stockholm exactly planned to get Barnstormer that late in the draft either. One of these guys have to be traded. Riga has no goaltender now after trading Mike to Helsinki and putting Salo on waivers. Maybe that's a good place? Don't know. I had this same kind of issue when I had a goaltender in the league in the early S30's and the league was over saturated with them and I had nowhere else to go but Vasteras (Respectfully declined to be traded for a first there). Campbell should be ready next season so Stockholm would still need to decide on who their 'go-to' guy will be and one of them will need to be trade and whatnot but they have time until then. I also wanted Toronto to claim Salo off waivers and split starts with Okranitz and run with the hot hand into the playoffs. Helsinki-Cologne will be the story in Europe with Davos/Stockholm knocking on the door. It seems like Riga is done with their runs and will probably rebuild. New York and Quebec are still the power houses in NA. Third spot is up for grabs but Toronto does have a pretty good roster even with Sundberg leaving (Should've signed in Seattle Greg) and can make a push.
