New York Americans re-assign Golden Jedtsson to Brampton Blades

Recommended Posts

Brampton, ONIt’s official. The New York Americans have re-assigned defenseman, Golden Jedtsson to the VHLM where he’ll further develop his skills. “It sucks heading into the training camp you feel good with your play, but then you realize that the coaches aren’t. However, it’s alright. I’m going to work hard down in Brampton this season and come into the next off-season with a lot of goals in mind that I hope to accomplish with the organization, one being making the New York Americans out of training camp then we’ll address my situation coming out of the training camp if I’m suited for a top two defenseman role or a depth defenseman role. I won’t back down next season and I hope the development I make through the off-season will be more than enough for me to get the spot on the team.” New York’s heading into a rebuild that they hope will be short, but after trading away all of their core we’re not sure if the team can expect to contend anytime soon. Golden Jedtsson’s hoping to be the top defenseman next season in the minors and he can definitely do it if he puts in the hard work needed to reach that level.
