Broad Shoulders

Rookie Bronson Faux was selected 2nd overall by the Riga Reign who are deep into a rebuild. Although we're just 10 games into his first season, he already feels as if he has broad shoulders. Faux is looked upon to turn this franchise around and has already been given the captain duties. Not only that but he's set to be the number one centre on the team for a very long time.

"It's a lot to take in all at once. Not only am I just starting my VHL career but there's so much more going on. I'm definitely ready for this oppurtunity and I'm going to do what it takes to make it work."

Faux actualy is stepping up to the plate so far as well. He has 5 goals and 4 assists in 11 games so far this season to tie for the lead in rookie scoring. Not only that but he's using his big bodied pressence to throw big hits and is top 10 at that as well. Most surprisingly is the goal scoring. Faux is known as a play making cenre but actually has more goals and leads the league in shooting percentage. We're interested to see what this rookie can do for a full season.
