Back to Back Against Bratislava

The top team in Europe the Oslo Storm faced their only real competition the Bratislava Watchmen in back to back games this weekend. The tilts were close, both games being decided by a single goal and one being pushed into overtime. In the first match Oslo won 4-3 with Coutzen having a superb night scoring and collecting two assists. In the second match Oslo lost 3-2 when Videl scored two minutes into the game. We asked Reuel what he thought on the two games.

“Game one we managed to create a lot of offense but it was not Oslo hockey. There was a lot of open ice for both teams, thankfully Coutzen had a great game and was able to pull us through. Game two we got out played and deserved to lose. I didn’t show up in either game to be honest. Honestly I am really disappointed with our performance as a team. Our objective is to win the cup; we need to beat Bratislava in a series to get to the final. If we play like we did this week we will be heading home much earlier than any of us want to.”
