Glaciem 86
Recently Star Junior Defensemen Chuck Goody’s rights were traded at the VHL level which resulted in him being called up to the big show. While this is a great opportunity for Goody it put his junior team, the Oslo Storm, in an awkward position losing their number one defenseman nearing the end of the season. Star forward Giovanni Reuel played with Goody last season in Bern on their way to a championship. We asked him for his thoughts on the departure of teammate. “It really is a huge hit for the team. Goody has played well this season and is a huge minute eater. I still remember how dominant he was last playoff run; there is no way Bern would have won without the offensive pressure he provides from the back end. I honestly am worried for how we will perform without him. It is not like we have been a high scoring team… losing one of our few offensive weapons and a man who is a huge part of our defense is scary to think about. Our GM brought in some more help which might keep us afloat but I hope we can come together as a team without any serious growing pains.” Words: 204 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/22633-chuck-goody%E2%80%99s-departure/ Share on other sites
