Red Wolves Prospects Visit

On their recent trip to Bern for a game against the hated Bern Royals, the Moscow Red Wolves gave themselves an extra day to visit the facilities of the nearby VHL Club, HC Davos Dynamo. It gave these Season 46 draft hopefuls an opportunity to see just what they were working towards, and it could perhaps inspire them with just a bit more motivation to play at their very best. "The facilities are top notch in the VHL, if they're all like how it is in Davos," says centre prospect, Jory Rose, "we have nice stuff in Moscow, but you can still see there's a different between minor league facilities and the big leagues. It's definitely something to keep in the back of your head when you're training."

The Red Wolves are currently on a 16-game winning streak, and though Oslo and Bern are both still within striking distance, the Russian-based club is beginning to put some distance between themselves and their opponents. "We have a lot of depth, and there isn't any aspect of the game where we're weak," says Rose, who still logs big minutes as the team's #1 centre, "if we keep this up, we'll be a very difficult team to stop. It's all about staying focused on the big picture, and not getting too caught up with our current successes. I think this little field trip helps us all keep perspective."
