The VHL hasn't been top of mind for Lars Strummer, but he has a bit if an excuse; Grey Cup 101.

"My agent announced my intentions while I was partying in Regina," explains Strummer. "I havn't paid much attention, but to my defense I've kinda been drunk the last seven days. Riderville has been great, tghe people are fantastic here but I think we drank the rest of the country dry. However with the party winding down, it is time for me to get back into the hockey mode and time to get some practice time in before I play an actual game."

Just who that team will be in which Strummer will play for has not been sorted out, Lars knows it will sort itself over the next few days.

"I don't care where I end up, I know it's just a temporary stop gap before I get to where I truly want to be. If I play a playoff game great, if not so be it. The (VHLM) draft is just around the corner so that will be a bit of finalization for me."
