atw2592 286
Yes, it happened. LSP finished off S46 by leading the Ottawa Lynx to a 4-2 series victory over the Moscow Red Wolves to claim the championship for the second year in a row. Not many people in VHLM history can boast that feat. It looked as if the Lynx might pull off the sweep after going up 3-0, but Moscow clawed their way back into it with two straight dramatic wins to make it close. LSP had a goal in game 6, helping Ottawa win their first VHLM championship in a long while. Now LSP gets to sit back and wait for the S46 VHLM awards to be announced. He is expected to take home league MVP and is a strong candidate for playoff MVP as well. It was a successful season from start to finish and now LSP will get to prove himself in the VHL when he joins the Toronto Legion at the start of next season. With a predicted 268 TPE by the time S47 starts, St. Pierre may be in the running for rookie of the year. He will provide a lot of offense for the Legion, who severely lack in that area.
