Guest
It was no shock that after the Deal that inked Alex Kachur the second to Riga for three years that he would be moving Victory Hockey League Minor teams as well. A few hours later he saw a move from Oslo Storm back over to Canada to the Brampton Blades. Being close the the team his father used to play under with Hamilton Canucks meant the world to the young defender. “We have huge ties and roots here in Ontario. My father played for Hamilton for many years and was the General Manager of team Canada for the World Cup. Im happy to be playing my hockey here again” The night after the trade was Alex's first game with Brampton where the young man put up six points. Two goals and four assists and claiming himself the first star of the game. The impact he made looks as if the young man is making a serious turn to be somebody in the league. His General Manager Smarch was also singing his praises. “He is a Kachur, so yes of course there was a risk, but it was a risk I was willing to take to make the team stronger and push for the playoffs. Kachur and his ability as a depth Defender is what will really set him apart from others in his class. IF he can stay focused then I won the trade.” Words:234 Edited August 8, 2016 by Guest Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/32768-spark-of-life/ Share on other sites
