Daryl Dortch recently released a statement about his performance so far this season.

“I know I’ve only played in fourteen games so far this season but I was definitely expecting more from myself. I haven’t been able to get the offense or the physical game going yet. One goal and seventeen hits in fourteen games? I need to step it up big time. I’m hoping my training and hard work starts to pay off soon but I’m not sure how much longer Brampton can wait. I definitely need to play hard in the post season. There are only two games left in the regular season. Hopefully I can figure things out by then. We’re 5-5 our last ten. That’s not horrible but it’s not really how we wanted to go into the playoffs. It would be nice to win the next two so we’re not limping into the playoffs coming off a four game losing streak.”

The Brampton Blades will wrap up the regular season the next few days with a game against the Saskatoon Wild at home then away against the Moscow Red Wolves.
