Marcus has come from a lot of adversity throughout his career and it continues to happen as he hasn’t had the best start to his rookie campaign in the VHLM. Through ten games he only has three points and hasn’t played the best two way game you see from a player of his caliber. It is a little to early to judge, but people around the league have criticized his game through the first ten games. Of course it probably isn’t anything to worry about as he is still adapting to the different kind of game compared to junior. Last year Marcus played with the Edmonton Oil Kings of the WHL and made a surprise departure at the beginning of this season. A lot of people don’t think his game isn’t really for the VHL yet. It will be interesting to see if Marcus can start to fit in better, and prove people wrong around the league.
