After officially filing his intent to retire after Season 55, Helsinki Titans defenseman Shayne Gow has one last playoff run before he's done for good. After winning the Continental Cup in Season 54, Shayne and the rest of the Titans are attempting to win another cup and repeat as champions. After having a nice lead for 1st overall in the league, the Vikings and Meute have closed the gap and the three teams are now neck and neck for best team in the league. With no changes to the roster from last year, the Titans have been looked at as title contenders, and so far, they've held up their part of the bargain. It remains to be seen if this regular season success can translate to the playoffs, as we saw last season with the Stockholm Vikings that regular season success does not guarantee playoff success. While Shayne is not having the best year personally, at this point in his career, he's only focused on team success.
