TurnDaddy 323
The playoffs may have started last week for other teams, but after winning the Victory Cup, Riga found themselves with a much needed break. Playing strong all season, the rigors of the season has taken its toll on many of the players' bodies. "I'm glad we held on to win that Victory Cup, and along with it a break. It's been an exhausting season, but this was a much needed break." Said Rookie Defenseman Niko Bogdonavic. Some teams do not necessarily respond well to the long break between the end of the regular season and their start in the playoffs, but it seems as if the Reign haven't skipped a beat as they've started their series with Davos with two straight wins. After all the off season acquisitions and their draft, expectations were high for the Reign. Now only two wins away from representing Europe in the Continental Cup, the Reign have their goal in the crosshairs and the hype is at an all time high.
