AwfulHomesick 148 Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 Oslo Storm GM Thomas Landry (Doomsday) made the announcement last night that AwfulHomesick (Blaine Olynick) would be taking the reigns of assistant general manager being effective immediately. The move only adds to the new slew of young up and coming members of the VHL trying to make a name for themselves early on in their careers. "I'm lucky to fall under the wings of a veteran guy like Doomsday, I could definitely learn the ins and outs of what a general manager does at a smaller scale like the VHLM. This could eventually lead into the GM spot for a VHLM team or even a VHL team", said AwfulHomesick at the press conference. Some of the goals he plans to achieve in his time in Oslo is to gather a young core of players to develop for their future and potentially a successful minor league career. His plans for the distant future? "First Oslo, next, the world," he said.
