Finn Davison on his first Sponsor's Shield

The Ottawa Lynx young goaltender, Finn Davison was not only named to the WJC team, but he was also named to the Sponsor's Shield of his sponsor, Haterade. He will be participating in his first tournament. We did have a chance to catch up to Finn Davison, the young United Kingdom Goaltender, this is what he had to say:

"When I got the call to represent Haterade, it has been a whirlwind. This entire experience going from London to Ottawa then working out for my country and having that Union Jack on the arm of my jersey then getting the call to have a sponsor. This has been absolutely something. I have a lot to learn, this experience and these practices are going to be something. When you have guys like Veran Dragomir coming down at you and taking a shot at you, it is something. We are talking about a guy that has scored 138 goals in his career in the VHL shooting on a goalie that has not even been a part of the draft. I am not used to this, this is going to be a great experience. [Tristan] Iseult is going to be someone that I can learn from as I look to take the step and make that next jump into the VHL. This is going to be something, I cannot wait."

 

Haterade has a roster that includes Colton Rayne, Matt Thompson, Podrick Cast, Cole Mertz, and Adam Warlock. They have a lot of competition, but all of these guys are looking to make some impact in the tournament. It will start soon, tune in to find out!
