Jubo 1,839
Late Sunday evening, talks began between Vegas and Sakatoon. Vegas was strongly interested in acquiring centre Curtis Gary @CurtisG93 to further improve their deep roster. After much deliberation a deal was struck; To Las Vegas :Curtis Gary + S65 SSK 3rd + S66 SSK 4th To Saskatoon: Cal Davidson + S65 LVA 1st + S66 LVA 2nd Gary will have his hand at the first line centre duties between two of the hottest VHLM wingers; Dan Baillie and Nathan N who have amassed 28 points a piece through just 16 games. Depending on performance over the next few games, Gary could become a permanent fixture on the top unit. Gary on his own right has put up impressive numbers alongside Anton Edvin allowing the rebuilding Saskatoon Wild to compete. The Aces are coming off of a very strong night winning 8-1 over the Wild and 3-2 over 2nd place Halifax. The trade gives Vegas incredible depth at Centre. He joins McDavid, Chance Matthews and Anthony Matthews down the middle. While the trade will result on some minor line mix-ups, Vegas management is confident it won't take long for new chemistries to form. Vegas parts ways with centre Cal Davidson who they selected 38th overall this past draft. Davidson had just 1 goal in 16 contests and was benched recently due to missed practices.
