Us:
The beloved Lions of Latvia are coming back from a 3-2 Loss against the New York Americans. In the first period, Joel Ylonen got his 9th goal of the season 12:19 into the game. Then, the second period came along. 2:07 into the second period, Edwin Preencarnacion tied it up for the Riga Reign, and it was followed up by Dylan Nguyen, who scored 4 minutes into the second. Then, Roctrion King of the New York Americans scored a power play goal 5:02 minutes into the second to tie it up for the Americans. After a hard fought battle between the two in the third period, it was Dan Wilinsky who would win the game for New York, 16:45 into the period.

Them:
Toronto lost their last game against the Quebec City Meute, with a score of 4-3. They lost in a similar fashion. In the first period, the Legion struck fast, with Lavar Ball scoring 20 seconds into the game. And the questionably named Boner scored on a power play, at 10:12. Marvin Harding of the Meute would score at 18:42. Then in the second, Beau Louth would show off why he's third in League Scoring. He scored a power play goal 5:08 into the period to tie it up. After a goal from Oyorra Arroya, the palindrome paladin, he scored again 14:13 into the period. Then, there would be a hard fought battle until 14:38 into the third when Colton Rayne scored on the power play, winning the game for the Meute.

This, That & The Other:

This: The Reign are tied with the Seattle Bears for first place in the league with 38 points. The Toronto Legion are not far behind with 35 points, good

enough for third place.

That: Edwin Preencarnacion was the first star of the last game against the New York Americans with 1 goal, 1 assist, and a +1 plus minus rating in that game. He also leads the Riga Reign in point scoring and goal scoring.

The Other: Riga is attempting to bounce back from a 3 game losing streak while the Toronto Legion only have a streak of 1 loss.

Players to Watch:

Riga Reign: For Riga, it's the Right Winger Edwin Preencarnacion. Preencarnacion was, as previously mentioned, the first star in the game against the New York Americans. He also is the Team Leader in points and goals.

Toronto Legion: Of course, it's the Palindrome Paladin, Oyorra Arroyo. Like Preencarnacion, he leads his team in both Goals and Points, and also scored 1 goal and 1 assist in the game against the Quebec City Meute.
