JBlaze 10
Seth Rollins Headed to VHLM By Dean Ambrose Seth Rollins is the newest hot shot prospect about to invade the VHLM. Rollins brings to the table already a decent ability to put the puck in the net, but it of course needs a lot of work. Rollins will see significant ice time during his VHLM tenure. As the season is just beginning, Rollins will have a full season under his belt to adjust to the VHL style of playing hockey. By just missing the VHLM draft, Rollins will now be subjected to the waiver system. Many experts are wondering why Rollins wouldn’t just declare for the draft if he had intentions of joining the league anyway. According to most reports, Rollins has his agent Johnny Blaze to blame. Blaze was lazy about filing his player’s papers to the league office, which resulted in the delay. While this might not seem like a big deal, it may eventually be a problem for Rollins down the line if he ever wants to move on from Blaze in his corner. Blaze is famously known as the agent of recently retired Damien Sandow. Blaze and Sandow were together as a cohesive unit at the beginning of Sandow’s career, but Blaze unceremoniously decided to cut ties with the player and never return to the VHL; until now. Rollins is prepared for a successful professional hockey career in the VHL. Blaze’s strange history aside, Rollins projects to be a good prospect for a VHL team. Seth is a natural skater, and while it’ll take time for him to get acclimated to the speed of the VHLM game, it’d be a mistake to sleep on Rollins as a potential VHLM franchise player for the short period of time he’ll be in the developmental league. Seth is a lifelong hockey player who comes from a long history of the game with his father, uncles, and grandfather having prominent roles in professional hockey around the world. In a statement after his agent officially announced his VHLM eligibility, Rollins had this to say: “I’m excited to get out there on the ice. There’s a tingly feeling inside of my body, it’s outrageous. I’ve been playing this game my entire life, but there’s still butterflies. When I signed my letter of intent to the VHLM offices, I was a nervous wreck. I have a lot to prove to myself and my friends. They’re going to support me no matter what, but I’ve been around hockey my entire life. My family lives through this game. I’m excited to carry on the Rollins hockey legacy. It’s a responsibility I’m embracing. The team that I end up on will get a dedicated player who is looking to leave a mark in this league.” Rollins sounds as confident as any other top prospect, and only time will tell if his words carry any weight. Seth is going to have to put in a lot of work to get to the level of family members before him, but he also has a chance to make his own legacy. Seth could end up being the face of a VHL franchise someday, and that’s something he would relish in. Guest Svoboda_3
Content: 3/3 531 words. Okay, how in the fuck did I not know you were Sandow? Well, I'm glad you are back and from all accounts, you've done good in the PT department (I've graded a couple of them already). This Media Spot was strong and while not overly long, it didn't really have to be.Grammar: 2/2 Just two. VHLM draft = VHLM Draft there's still = there are Appearance: 1/1 Looked fine. Maybe color would enhance this more.Overall: 6/6 Edited March 12, 2014 by Svoboda_3 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/5893-claimedrollins-arrives/#findComment-51923 Share on other sites
