My Random VHL Thoughts

Regarding my season so far - I was a little disappointed to the start of my season, with only 1 point in the first few games. I had a good number of hits and blocked shots, which was nice, but I'm trying to make a true two-way defenseman, not just a defensive guy. It's picked up a little bit since I've improved my scoring, but I'm hoping to get around 50 points this year.

 

Regarding the 6/6 TPE cap - At first, I was pretty against this change - and I do believe this is a change, or at the very least, an old rule that hasn't been enforced in a long time - since I used to cap while using the VHL Pension Plan by doing reviewing on top. I do sort of like that this will actually reward those who do point tasks, since previously, I didn't do them regularly, basically only when I had a doubles, there was a theme week with extra rewards, or I had something I wanted to write 1000+ words about.

 

The one thing I don't agree with is not classifying reviewing as a job. Yes, everyone can do it, but it is still a nice part of the league, as it shows others that their work was read and (hopefully) appreciated.
