Aces Player Spotlight: Rocky LaGarza

Having already acquired a Founder's Cup with Las Vegas in season 64; Rocky LaGarza @SwagSloth has evolved from depth player to Aces points leader. LaGarza was acquired late last season from the since relocated Oslo Storm franchise. He was a complementary piece in the Josh Harris deal. Both Harris and LaGarza remained in the VHLM this season combining for 90 points. LaGarza owns 60 of those points and holds a demanding lead of 17 over Matthews, Aaltonen and Sabertooth. The well rounded nature of Rocky's game has him equal in goals and assists at 30 respectively. LaGarza has shown flashes of similarity to NathanN, last seasons runaway star on the Aces and eventual VHLM points leader. With the depth they have, both from draft and trade acquisitions, the Aces have the necessary tools to defend their Founder's Cup Championship. The question-mark remains in goal as both their tenders have fallen short of expectation. Rocky will be leaned on heavily to offset the teams goal differential in heated match-ups from here to the end of the season.
