Reapers Acquire BigShotty

Early Sunday afternoon; trade talks heated up between the GM's of Philadelphia and San Diego. The target for San Diego being Rhys Chism. The Reapers hold all of their players and assets in high regard and were not going to part ways without a fair value acquisition. Trade talks began as early as Friday evening and carried into the weekend. With the trade deadline (June 5th 3:00pm) inching closer, San Diego moved forward with their offer. The trade was completed shortly before 3:00pm EST Sunday.

Scotty will immediately slot into Philly's top nine and will be given the opportunity to display his skill-set both offensively and defensively. The Reapers are in position to re-stock in S67's draft and compete at the elite level right out the gate; just as they have this season. San Diego appears to be heading in the direction of becoming a serious contender for the remainder of S66, followed by a rebuild in S67 in preparation for a strong S68. Both players are in transit to their new locales and should be able to compete for their clubs this evening.
