Lars Eller has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming season. He’s transitioned from winger to centerman, and has been working as hard as he can to contribute to the Yukon Rush during this critical season. In the meantime, he’s been searching as hard as he can to find a place to stay. There aren’t many billet families that aren’t actually Kodiak bears in costume to look like human beings.

Yes, you can move in with me. We're very welcoming.

He found a local motel, but he didn’t really want to pick cockroaches out of his boxer briefs, so he kept searching. Eventually he found the local dive bar had an ad up on the wall outside. “Studio Apartment for rent - $400”. He inquired, got a tour, and swiftly moved in. The only caveat to the place is that the boiler for the building was located in his apartment, so he had to do some minor repairs on it from time to time as part of his rent.

If anything, this living situation will motivate Eller to be as productive as possible to advance to the VHL as quik as possible. We’ll keep you updated.
