The First 21 Games of my Career

One thing I have noticed since joining this site is that the seasons fly by and that is a great thing! There are hardly any stretches that drag on.

 

Now already, I am 21 games into my VHL career. My start was underwhelming, going pointless in the first 7 games but I was one of the lowest TPE players in the league, getting minimal ice time so that wasn’t exactly a surprise. 

 

Since then, I have scored 5 goals and 5 assists for 10 points in just 14 games. That’s a pace I would like to keep, if not improve on, in the remainder of my rookie season.  I’m still getting minimal ice time with almost half of the time I get coming on special teams. I lead my team in penalty killing minutes.  I have dished out more hits than I’ve taken. 

 

Overall, I’m satisfied with how I’ve started my VHL career. It’s been fun, moderately successful, and my future is bright.
