Since joining the San Diego Marlins of the VHLM less than a week ago, Swedish blueliner, Oskar Lagesson has impressed management on how quickly he has been able to pick up the North American style game and has shown he is very committed, logging 73 total hours of training. That is quite impressive for a player with under a week under his belt in the league and if he can keep it up, he will reach the 100 training hours plateau in no time. Lagesson landed in San Diego a few days ago and made it in time for his first VHLM contest, a 5-0 loss to the Houston Bulls. Oskar logged 26 minutes of ice time with an even plus/minus rating, a shot, two hits and a shot block. I would keep an eye on this young defender and see if he continues to progress quickly and if he is able to do so, his draft stock could steadily rise and he could work his way into the first round of the Season 69 VHL Entry Draft.
