Hockey is an always developing sport and obviously as the seasons go one player get better and better but it never hurts to look at the past for examples of how to improve. A player on my current team that I was a fan of even before being drafted is Emil Passerelli, I am definitely observing him in practise and trying to implement his skills into my game. Historically a player that I try to emulate is Franchise Cornerstone. I remember sneaking out of my room in the early morning to watch the Titans when I was younger. As I’ve matured my appreciation of Franchise Cornerstone has evolved from just a fan appreciation to a deeper acknowledgement of his skills working to implement his skills into my playstyle. My favourite season was his S59 in which he scored an amazing 67 goals, honestly this is my goal once I make the pros, have a 67-goal season.
