Fire Tortorella 2,653
For those who don't know, Scotty Cambell is the VHL's version of Wayne Gretzky. An original member of the VHL, Cambell was selected 2nd overall in the initial Dispersal Draft by the Vasteras Iron Eagles. Scotty quickly put his mark on the league, scoring 135 points in 72 games during his rookie season. His remaining 7 seasons were just as dominant. Most notable was his play during S5, when as a member of the Seattle Bears, Cambell put up 190 points in 72 games, which remains (I think?) the most points by a player in a single season. Cambell also holds the record for most points in his career. 577 regular season games, Cambell had 600 goals, 639 assists, and 1239 points, while also winning every offensive award available at least once. For multiple reasons, it's very unlikely we will ever see someone dominate the VHL as much as Scotty Cambell.
