After 55 games the Titans were looking dominant acquiring 39 wins. They held the number one spot in the league and more importantly had a comfortable cushion in their conference. However, the next 17 contests burned Helsinki. They recorded just six wins in that span and fell to much lesser opponents such as D.C. and Prague. The untimely skid resulted in an eventual fall to 3rd in the conference and 3rd overall in the league. Just three points separated them from the top seed (Malmo). The clubs all-star cast saw several cases of inconsistency. Both Borwinn and Bailey were on pace to easily pass 100 points but ended with 96 and 95 respectively. Their back-up goalie saw several starts in those 17 games which attributed to a few of the losses suffered.

Helsinki is currently tied 1-1 with Riga in round one of the season 68 playoffs. The two clubs finished just one point apart in the season standings. Helsinki enjoyed stronger offensive numbers with 233 goals to Riga's 211 whereas Riga provided stronger defensive numbers allowing 178 goals to Helsinki's 195. This series will almost certainly go six or seven games. All four series thus far are notched at 1-1.
