CALGARY - After 10 games with the Vancouver Canucks, Ryuu has proved himself to be able to play in the National Hockey League. The former Victory Hockey League player has had 6 points with the Canucks, proving that he was a good asset for the Canucks. But recently, the Vancouver Canucks traded him for a defenseman and a second-round pick to the Calgary Flames.

“Eh, I’ve been traded before. Trades aren’t always a bad thing. Sometimes they signify a new start.”

Like the Canucks did when he started his NHL journey, the Flames sent Ryuu Crimson down as they feel like they were good as of now. But Ryuu is ready to play in the NHL as soon as he can.

“Well, I guess it’s a sign that I gotta continue to work hard and keep on pushing for that breakthrough. I know I’ll be skating in the NHL again soon. It’s just a matter of time. Besides, I can’t wait to play for my hometown.”
