Jamie 438
RIGA, Latvia - With season 38 just around the corner in the Victory Hockey League, teams are gearing up. There's a lot of excitement in the capital of Latvia for this season and hopes are high from management, the fans and even the players themselves. Of course when you put such high expectations on yourself it can be a little stressful. Going into his third season as captain, Brennan McQueen decided that it would be a great idea to add to the pressure. #DoitforKameron was his idea and the marketing team and social media took off with it. Twitter was blowing up and anyone who knows anything about the Reign knows about this campaign now. It's in reference to Kameron Taylor, the number one center on the Reign who is going into his last season of his hockey career. Having a pretty successful career thus far, he's regarded as to one of the couple elite forwards left in the league. Having a few individual trophies in his cupboard, he doesn't have what every player seeks and that is the Continental Cup. This will be his last attempt at it and all players are on board to #DoitforKameron. Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/7940-doitforkameron/ Share on other sites
