Liam grew up in a small humble farming town, Armstrong, BC. He was on a journey to make his town know to the world because of his hockey prowess. Liam learned to skate before he was two on a homemade outdoor rink that his Dad would build every year. Liam would spend hours every day skating and practicing his slap shot. Not to mention cheering for his favourite VHL team, the Vancouver Wolves.

During his Junior years Liam would have to drive an hour out of his way to Kelowna where he had the best shot of being noticed and having his game developed. He struggled to fit in at first, being of shy nature and being from a smaller town. However that didn’t slow down his production on the ice. Fans and scouts quickly saw the smooth skating defenceman dominating from the blue line. His offensive prowess, and ability to skate from end to end has always been the highlight of his game.

For the past two years Liam was picked up by the Vernon Vipers of the KIJHL. In his first year he struggled to transition to a more competitive league, and especially struggling in his own end. He finished the year at a dismal -16. He was determined to increase his defensive ability and spent the off-season training and practicing hard with his teammates. He rebounded with an incredibly strong season, being paired with Hirose, the leagues top defenceman of the year in large part to the compliments of his partner Liam. Liam put up a strong campaign with 14 goals and 24 assists. He always improved in his defensive game, ending the year at a +7 rating.

After finishing the year he was approached by the GM of the VHLm team The Philadelphia Reapers. They were quick to talk about a contract and eager to sign him! Liam has always wanted to play for a team that is excited to have him, so it was an easy decision to sign on to their team and contend for a cup!
