The season wasn't over for Ryan Busser after his team was eliminated by a superior Moscow in the playoffs, no, he was ready for prime time after a very successful season and his name was about to be in the Russian movie history books. The movie is about a family that takes practice to the extreme so their son Artemi (played as Busser) is "more-ready" than the other kids whenever he tries out for his high school hockey team, things spiral out of control and after a few bad coaches they finally take advice from a local bum they meet at the mall. The advice would eventually lead them down a dark road and things would only get worse for the persistent parents as they find themselves joining an underground sports establishment for alternative sports with bloody rules.
