Just days after Jarome Iginla signed with the Brampton Blades, we caught up with him to discuss the changes he has gone through to adjust to life in Brampton.

Jarome said he never thought he would ever be playing in Brampton, always coming from big cities such as Edmonton, and playing in Calgary and Boston, Jarome said that coming to a small town like Brampton was a big change "Brampton definitely is a change from Calgary and Boston, way less people, no traffic and I guess more nature to look at. Believe me it is a nice city to live in"

Jarome also said the transition from Boston to Brampton was tough on his family. "Moving from Calgary to Boston was not as bad as we had been anticipating it for some time. Bags were packed and ready to go for a couple months. Coming to Brampton was difficult, as my wife had to relocate her job and my kids were doing exams in school, so they needed to finish those things before they made the move over here. As for me, i only had a short amount of time to get prepared for the game that night as well the move. It was hard on the kids and the wife, but it all worked out."

Jarome is now enjoying life with the Blades.
