Hi Mums of Mum's Net. I'm not a Mum myself but I heard that you guys know everything there is to know about dietary information so here is my question to you. I'm a 23-year-old ice hockey player who needs to bulk up my muscles a little and get fit for my games. At the moment I am drinking 8+ monster energy drinks a day to stay awake and I eat the occasional packet of crisps or cone of chips to keep myself going. I've just been informed by a friend that this is not a good diet to have for a sports player and that I'm gonna end up crashing or having a heart attack if I keep this up. What would you guys suggest I eat on a day to day basis to be efficient at my sport, and what foods should I avoid if I want to stay healthy? Please bear in mind that I want to feel more awake than I do without caffeine, and I have a sweet tooth.
