ThePerfectNut 563
I need quick TPE so... World Cup Junior champion There is no stats of him during the WJC, but he did win it with USA. He did pretty well as a depth player who was in his very first time in the league. He did had 3 game winning goals in those games and played well defensively. Top 5 player in Mexico City Kings history He did lead the team in there very first playoff apperance even though it was there first year in the league! He dominated in the VHLM and he might have been a champion. Our star goaltender did not play in game 1 and 2 because of a flu and that costed us the series. Only played one time in the World Cup? He only played in the world cup once in his carreer which is pretty much surprising. The one time that he played was extremely good for the team by putting up 8 points, which 6 are assists, through 10 games and had 2 game winning goals. I think they lost in the finals, but he did good overall. It was a shame that he only played one time for team Canada. A PPG season and almost made the all star game Rodriguez, Boris the forest and Steve LeGrande were a huge big 3 that got seperated after one season. Rodriguez was supposed to be PPG, but he got benched in his last few games because of drama. He got to the 20 goals mark, +200 shots and near 200 hits in that season and played well defensively. He almost was in the all star game in his sophomore year, but his fellow draft class member HHH got the better of him by an inch. It is a popularity event. Becoming a VHL champion Who said that your rivals could be the ones that you are invincible with? The great Banacock traded for Rodriguez to prepare his team for cup run. He used him as well as he could and he had 8 game winning goals in that season! He lead the league in GWG in that season and he is considered as a playmaker. Rodriguez was always near a PPG in the playoff and tht must be why the great Banacock took a chance at him. What a coincidence he went completely NUTS in the playoff by being a PPG and scoring like a MACHINE. Playmakers can score too baby! He also had 4 game winning goals! He carried the team for one playoff series if I remember it correctly. Not a HOF carrer, but a solid forward career and overcame odds Through 432 games, he had 99 goals as a pure playmaker. 211 assists for 310 points and that's without being an important piece for a team. He had over 1k shots and 511 hits with 148 shots blocked. He also had 21 game winning goals? That's almost 25% of his goals, his a clutch player when he needs to be one. Most of his career were with team with playoff aspirations so he never had the chance to compete for a cup each year. I think he's pretty happy about his career Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/91870-aleksander-rodriguez-was-his-career-bad/ Share on other sites
