The dominance of the league by Saskatoon so far has surely been a shock to many. With a loss to Halifax in today’s sim they slipped to second place behind Halifax, but it’s still been a sight to see. Through 22 games, Saskatoon currently leads the league with 110 goals, and is third is goal differential behind only Halifax and Vegas.

Saskatoon’s main driving force is the combined efforts of Brian Strong Jr and Florent Vericel. They are first and second in points league wide with 64 and 60, respectively, and it isn’t even close. Gary Rush of Vegas currently ranks third in points, and he’s a solid 15 behind second place Vericel. The Wild currently have four players in the top 10 in scoring, and no other team has more than 2.

Goaltender Cal Conway has also been solid, currently 5th in both save percentage and goals against average despite having a lackluster defense.
