Adrienne comments on Championship

Defenseman Micah Adrienne was heard on a podcast recently talking about the Championship victory last season with the Vancouver Wolves. We have again caught up with him as he wanted to go over some other things about the upcoming season and past seasons.

"My goodness I was psyched. I really think we defied the odds in getting that far and winning it all was just a cherry on top of the cake. I think that was absolutely awesome to see and I was so happy for everyone in that locker room. It was a surreal experience. It really was, it was a whirlwind and went so damn fast. I really liked every minute. I wanted to thank the Vancouver organization for putting the team in a position to all go out there and do the best that we could. We were awesome, we did it."

 

Adrienne did then also sign a long term deal with the Vancouver Wolves. Clearly, he is staying committed to the team that drafted him. Everyone thought he could be a cornerstone of any franchise, and he is really hoping that Vancouver sees him as the same. Here's another season!
