The Start of the Season

CALGARY - Jacques Lafontaine has been training hard for this season. And the Calgary Wranglers have had a great start, winning 3 of their first five games with one regulation loss and one overtime loss. With additions of Eoin Byrne, De Fenz Man, Patrik Tallinder, and future starter Vsevolod Askarov, they have shown that they aren’t the same team from last year and that they want it this season more than anything.

 

“Yeah, Vsevolod Askarov has been amazing for us. Granted, he has only played one game but he was amazing in that game nonetheless. When he wins his next game, I’ll be sure to get that game puck as soon as the clock hits zero. The first win of many. Also, I am confident that Eoin Byrne, De Fenze Man, and Patrik Tallinder will be amazing for us. They have been working hard so far and I am so lucky that I get to play alongside such awesome players.”
