Boxing day

Riley Couture spent her boxing day morning like any other, strapping on her skates and practising her shooting in the Ice rink in the city where she lives. She has a passion for training and she struggles to take out time to relax even on the festive holiday that is Boxing day. However, once it came to the afternoon she went back home to spend time with her family where she prepared them a large meal to celebrate the holiday. She cooked two types of meat that day; pork and turkey. She made this with some cheesy mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips and onion. It was a huge delicious meal that the family enjoyed but they were very stuffed afterwards. Which meant Riley felt better off taking a nap in the evening rather than working on lifting weights to build her muscles as she had planned to do previously. That night she dreamed of winning the finals and celebrating with her team.
