Eeli Rantanen finishes his first season in the VHLM with Mississauga with an impressive record. Hounds did lack greatness this season but did bloom some new promising talent, with Erin Esurance and Eeli Rantanen on the frontline, which we will now have a postseason interview with

 

Are you satisfied with yourself this season?

 

I mean, I am more satisfied than dissapointed. Mississauga gave me plenty of time on the ice and I made sure that it did not go to waste. Having point per game ratio on my first season made me very happy

 

Mississauga failed to qualify for playoffs this season. Could have there been something done differently in order for you to achieve a spot?

 

I think with this current roster, no. We played all to our utmost limit and if that did not do the trick then nothing could have. We did well as players but failed as a team, which matters more.

 

Where are you heading next season in the VHLM draft?

 

Honestly, no idea. I could go anywhere and im open for any teams that have any competitive spirit among them. Same goes for VHL draft, anything could happen and I will continue to do my best.
