In Seattle lived a man
Hockey was his only plan
The man did not know anything else
Hockey was the only skill he possess

On ice he did all he can
Once showed his ass to a fan
Winning the only thing he cared for
The man wanted more and more

One day someone was at the door
The knock man tried to ignore
A figure dressed in black stormed in
The man had never seen someone so thin

The name is depreciation

I have come for evaluation
Don't take my TPE, begged the man
I have to, otherwise it's a ban

Tears and screaming stopped
The man's innocence had been popped
Later that night the man could not sleep
The memory of depreciation was deep

The man lived and breathed hockey
Which turned him cocky
Once so strong and agile
Now so slow and fragile

Growing old was a tough pill to swallow
In mysery he wanted to wallow
Depreciation was rough and mean
Instruments that big the man had never seen

When the man opened his eyes in the morning
He felt like nonperforming
The man went back to bed
Called the coaches and said it was his head

Once young, now old
Soft hands, now cold
The man sleeps during the day
Skipping practice is okay
