A tad more lighting on the jersey area where the text overlaps and around that area on the face closest to the text would set this off. With B&W sigs you're lighting needs to be on point for it to look good. You're close but one or two things off from perfect. Look: 2.75/3 - Pretty damn nice for a B&W, I think even a touch of color would have helped out showing off the softness of the render.
