Surprise selection WJC

Tom Eagles recently learned that he will be representing Team Europe in the upcomming WJC. We spoke to him about being selected and how far he thinks Team Europe will go.

 

" I was definitely surprised, I didn't think I would make the team as a first year rookie but I am beyond excited" Said Tom " It is always an honor representing your country and I would never turn down an opportunity like this. Our team is very talented with lots of depth. I personally think we can win Gold with the team we have and we will be doing our best to achieve this"

The WJC will be kicking off next week and expectations are high for all the youngsters representing their home countries in this years edition. These tournaments are good opportunities for young players to establish their names on the world stage and it is also a good opportunity to get some quality games in before the start of the regular season.
